Best Microblading Brow Tattooing Coogee
Natural-looking, perfectly shaped brows — designed just for your face and lifestyle.
Your Ideal Brows Are Just One Appointment Away
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that creates beautifully defined brows using fine, hair-like strokes. Whether you’re filling in sparse areas, correcting asymmetry, or simply want to save time in the mornings, microblading is a safe and effective way to enhance your natural features with long-lasting results.
My studio is based in Coogee, within the City of Cockburn, and I regularly work with clients from Beeliar, Atwell, Rockingham, Fremantle and beyond. You’ll receive personalised care in a relaxed, private space — where every brow is tailored to suit your face, goals, and lifestyle.
What Is Microblading?
Microblading uses a manual hand tool with ultra-fine needles to implant pigment into the upper layers of the skin. Each stroke mimics the appearance of natural brow hairs, helping to create the illusion of fuller, more symmetrical brows that look beautifully natural — even up close.
This technique is especially suited to those who:
Have naturally sparse, patchy, or uneven brows
Have lost brow hair due to over-plucking, ageing, or conditions like alopecia
Want a polished look without relying on makeup every day
Prefer a realistic hair-stroke finish over bolder brow styles
Want to correct or reshape their brow line for better balance and lift
Each appointment is fully customised — from pigment colour to brow shape — so the final result suits your features and your vision.
Please note: Microblading is not recommended for clients with oily, sensitive, or sun-damaged skin, as the strokes may blur or fade faster. In these cases, I may suggest nano brows or combo brows as a more suitable alternative. We’ll discuss this fully during your consultation.
Who Is This Treatment Best For?
Microblading is a wonderful option for many people who want naturally fuller brows that complement their features without the daily effort of makeup. It’s especially popular among those looking for a solution that’s both subtle and long-lasting — giving you beautifully shaped brows that don’t smudge, fade, or wash off.
You might be an ideal candidate for microblading if you:
Have thin, sparse, or uneven brows and want to restore balance and fullness
Prefer a soft, natural finish over the bold, makeup-style brow look
Want to save time in your daily routine without compromising on appearance
Have experienced brow hair loss due to ageing, hormonal changes, over-plucking, or medical conditions such as alopecia
Are looking for a low-maintenance solution that still looks refined and polished
Have a defined shape in mind but want a result that blends seamlessly into your existing brow hairs
Because microblading involves placing pigment in fine, hair-like strokes, it’s ideal for those with normal to dry skin, as the strokes tend to hold their crispness better. The technique mimics real brow hairs, making it a great choice for clients who are after realism and subtle enhancement rather than bold or shaded results.
That said, microblading isn’t suitable for every skin type. If your skin is:
Oily – the excess oil may cause the strokes to blur and fade more quickly
Sensitive or thin – you may be more prone to redness, swelling, or irritation during healing
Sun-damaged – pigment may not hold evenly or may fade prematurely on compromised skin
If I feel that microblading isn’t the best match for your skin, I may recommend nano brows (a machine-based technique using ultra-fine strokes with better retention) or combo brows (a mix of hair strokes and soft shading). These methods can offer more consistent results across a wider variety of skin types.
Every appointment starts with a detailed consultation — either in-person or over the phone — so I can assess your skin condition, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals before recommending the most suitable technique. There’s no pressure and no guesswork — just a focus on what will give you the best results.
If you're unsure or would like to talk things through first, free phone consultations are available, and in-salon consultations can be booked for a small fee.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Every microblading session includes a full consultation, treatment, and detailed aftercare support. Here’s what your experience looks like:
Consultation & Brow Design
We begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your brow goals, assess your skin, and choose a pigment colour that complements your tone. I’ll use brow mapping tools to draw a shape that suits your face and natural bone structure, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to review and adjust it before we start.
I also offer free phone consultations if you’d like to ask questions beforehand. If you prefer, you can book a face-to-face consultation in the studio for a small fee.
Numbing & Preparation
A topical numbing cream is applied to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the procedure. Most clients find the process very tolerable — and many are surprised at how relaxing it feels. In fact, some even fall asleep during the treatment!
The Microblading Process
Using a specialised hand tool, I carefully implant pigment into the upper layers of the skin with fine, hair-like strokes. The full process takes around 2.5 hours, giving me enough time to work with precision and ensure your brows are even, defined, and natural-looking.
Aftercare Guidance
Before you leave, I’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions and a healing balm to support your skin during the healing process. You’ll also be booked in for your mandatory follow-up appointment 6–8 weeks later — this is essential to refine the shape and reinforce the pigment.
Aftercare and Results
After your microblading session, your skin will go through a natural healing process — and how you care for your brows during this time plays a big role in how well the pigment settles and how long your results last. I’ll give you clear, personalised aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment, and you’ll leave with everything you need to support a smooth, comfortable healing experience.
Following these steps closely will help your brows heal evenly, reduce the risk of pigment loss, and ensure the final result looks soft, balanced, and refined.
Aftercare Tips:
Keep the brow area dry for the first 7 to 10 days. This means avoiding water directly on the brows when cleansing or showering. Gently cleanse around them with a damp cloth if needed.
Avoid activities that cause sweating, such as exercise or saunas, and skip swimming until your brows are fully healed. Excess moisture can interfere with pigment retention.
Steer clear of sun exposure, tanning beds, and direct heat (like from ovens or hairdryers) while your skin is healing, as UV and heat can cause pigment to fade or shift.
Do not pick, rub, or scratch your brows while they flake or scab. This is a normal part of healing, and picking can lead to uneven results or pigment loss.
Refrain from applying makeup or skincare products (especially those with active ingredients) over or near the brows until fully healed.
Apply the aftercare balm I provide, following the instructions given — this helps soothe the skin and protect the area without clogging or irritating it.
Keeping the area protected and following a minimal skincare routine is key during this time. Less is more — your skin is working hard beneath the surface, and gentle support is all it needs.
Healing Timeline:
Days 1–3: Your brows will appear darker and more defined than the final result. This is completely normal and part of the initial healing process.
Days 4–7: You may experience light flaking or scabbing as your skin regenerates. The pigment may look patchy during this stage — resist the urge to touch or peel.
Weeks 2–4: The colour will begin to settle and soften, revealing a more natural look. The strokes will blend beautifully into your brow line.
Week 6–8: You’ll return for your mandatory follow-up appointment, where I’ll assess the healed result, reinforce the pigment, and make any refinements to shape or density.
Microblading results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, sun exposure, skincare habits, and how well you follow the aftercare. For example, oily skin types may notice quicker fading, while drier skin tends to retain pigment longer. To keep your brows looking their best, I recommend annual refresh sessions to maintain crispness, colour, and shape.
This treatment is designed to simplify your daily routine and give you the confidence of waking up with perfectly shaped, natural-looking brows — no pencils or powders required.
Want Brows and Eyeliner? Save Time & $50
If you're planning to book both brows and eyeliner, the best time to start your second area is at the follow-up appointment for the first. This makes the aftercare process smoother and saves you time — plus, you’ll receive $50 off when combining the two.
