Eyeliner Tattoo Specialist Fremantle
Wake up every day with perfectly defined eyes — no makeup, no smudging.
Say Goodbye to Smudged Eyeliner — For Good
If you’re tired of struggling to apply your eyeliner evenly — or watching it smudge halfway through the day — cosmetic eyeliner tattooing offers a polished, long-lasting solution. Whether you want a soft lash enhancement or a more defined liner, this treatment helps you look bright, refreshed, and ready to go — from the moment you wake up.
Although I’m based in Coogee, many of my clients travel from Fremantle and nearby suburbs for precise, comfortable eyeliner tattooing in a private studio setting. I take the time to understand your goals and create a result that complements your natural features — subtle, balanced, and completely tailored to you.
What Is Cosmetic Eyeliner Tattooing?
Cosmetic eyeliner tattooing is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances the shape and definition of your eyes by depositing pigment along the lash line using a specialised machine. The result is smudge-proof, waterproof eyeliner that doesn’t wash off, fade unevenly, or require daily touch-ups.
Depending on your preferences, we can create a range of styles — from a subtle lash enhancement to a classic top liner, or even a soft shaded or winged effect.
Types of Eyeliner Available:
Lash Line Enhancement – A subtle line within the lashes to make eyes appear fuller and more defined (approx. 1.5 hours)
Classic Eyeliner – A more noticeable line just above the lashes (approx. 2 hours)
Shaded or Winged Liner – Adds softness or drama, depending on your goals (up to 3 hours)
I’ll help you choose a style that works best for your eye shape, daily routine, and desired look.
Who Is This Treatment Best For?
Cosmetic eyeliner tattooing is a fantastic option for many people — from those who wear eyeliner every day to clients who simply want a subtle boost of definition that doesn't smudge or fade throughout the day. It's designed to suit your natural eye shape, lifestyle, and comfort level with makeup, offering long-lasting results with zero daily effort.
You may be a great candidate if you:
Wear eyeliner regularly and want to save time each morning
Struggle with applying eyeliner due to shaky hands, vision problems, or dexterity challenges
Have sparse, thinning, or fair lashes and want the appearance of a fuller lash line
Live an active lifestyle and want makeup that stays put during exercise, swimming, or warm weather
Experience makeup allergies or sensitivities and want to avoid products near your eyes
Simply want to look more awake and polished without having to do your makeup daily
Have had previous eyeliner tattoos and are looking to refresh or refine the shape or depth
This treatment is especially popular among mature clients, who may have lost definition around the eyes due to age or hormonal changes. It’s also ideal for those who value convenience — whether you're busy with work, parenting, travel, or just prefer a natural, effortless look.
The eyeliner style and colour are fully customisable. Whether you want a barely-there lash enhancement or a more defined classic liner, we’ll design a look that suits your features and preferences.
I’ll always begin with a personal consultation to assess your eye shape, discuss your style goals, and ensure the technique is suitable for your skin and sensitivities. If you’d like to talk through your options ahead of time, I offer free phone consultations, and face-to-face consultations in the studio are also available for a small fee.
If you’re unsure whether this treatment is right for you, I’ll give you honest, professional advice — so you feel fully informed before moving forward.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Personalised Consultation
Before we begin, I’ll talk with you one-on-one to understand your goals and help you choose the right style and pigment colour. Your comfort, eye shape, and skin type are all taken into account to ensure the result enhances your features naturally.
If you have any questions before booking, a free phone consultation is a great place to start.
Numbing and Preparation
To ensure you’re comfortable, a topical numbing cream is used before the procedure. Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how tolerable the treatment is — and many even relax so much they drift off during the session. I work gently and check in with you regularly to ensure you feel at ease.
The Eyeliner Tattooing Process
Using a fine-tipped cosmetic tattoo machine, I carefully deposit pigment along your upper lash line (and lower, if desired). The technique is precise, clean, and tailored to your chosen style. Treatment time varies based on the look you're after — from 1.5 to 3 hours.
Required Follow-Up
All eyeliner tattoos require a follow-up appointment 6–8 weeks after your initial session. This allows me to reinforce any areas that healed lightly and refine the shape or depth of your liner.
If you're planning to have both brows and eyeliner done, it’s best to start the second area at your first follow-up — this simplifies aftercare and saves time. You’ll also receive $50 off when combining treatments in this way.
Aftercare and Results
Eyeliner tattooing is a low-maintenance treatment, but proper aftercare is essential to help your eyes heal evenly and ensure the pigment settles beautifully. The skin around the eyes is delicate, so following the right steps gives your liner the best chance to hold its colour, avoid irritation, and remain crisp and defined for as long as possible.
Before you leave your appointment, I’ll walk you through your aftercare in detail and provide a soothing ointment to support the healing process at home.
Aftercare Tips:
Avoid rubbing, touching, or applying makeup to the tattooed area for at least 5–7 days. This helps prevent infection, irritation, or unintentional pigment loss.
Keep the area clean and dry. When cleansing your face, use a damp cotton pad to gently wipe around the eye area without letting water or cleanser run over your lashes.
Avoid sweating, swimming, saunas, and steam rooms during the first few days, as heat and moisture can interfere with the healing process.
Wear sunglasses outdoors to protect your healing skin from sun exposure and environmental irritants.
Apply the recommended ointment gently as advised — a thin layer is all that’s needed to support healing and protect the area from dryness or flaking.
Steer clear of hot showers, strong skincare products, or exfoliating ingredients around the eyes until the skin is fully healed.
Being gentle and patient during the healing stage ensures your liner settles evenly, holds its shape, and retains its colour long term.
Healing Timeline:
Days 1–3: The liner may appear darker or thicker than expected. This is completely normal — it’s simply part of the initial settling and oxidisation process.
Days 4–7: You might experience light flaking, tightness, or dryness around the eyes. Don’t be alarmed if the pigment appears to lighten during this time — the skin is regenerating, and the true colour will emerge over the coming weeks.
Weeks 2–4: The colour will soften into its final shade, and the shape will appear more balanced. Any uneven areas or light spots will be addressed at your follow-up.
Week 6–8: You’ll return for a touch-up appointment, where I’ll reinforce the pigment, refine the line, and make sure both eyes are symmetrical and long-lasting.
Long-Term Results:
Most clients enjoy their eyeliner results for 18 to 36 months, depending on their skin type, lifestyle, and how well they follow aftercare and daily skincare. Factors like oily skin, frequent sun exposure, and the use of active skincare products near the eyes can cause pigment to fade more quickly.
To keep your liner looking fresh, I recommend a refresh session every 12 to 18 months. These shorter appointments help maintain the depth and sharpness of your eyeliner without the need to start over.
Cosmetic eyeliner tattooing is all about convenience — once your healing is complete, you can enjoy smudge-proof, perfectly placed eyeliner every day with no effort at all.
